POWGEN a.s.
POWGEN a. s. is engaged mainly in electricity cogeneration based on gas engines in five cities where MVV Energie CZ Group operates. Since 1st April 2010 the company has been generating and distributing heat in Studénka.
 

Fuel used for production...

POWGEN a.s. generates electricity in the gas cogeneration engines in five cities in the Czech Republic. Natural gas is also used in thermal energy generation In Studénka.
  

History of company...

POWGEN was established on 31st July 2007 as a 100% subsidiary of MVV Energie CZ a. s.
 

Investments and events in 2011/2012...

POWGEN a.s.
In the financial year 2011/2012 the company has renovated one heat exchanger station in Studénka, has replaced the boiler burner automatics and carried out other routine repairs on the production and distribution technology.
 

Sponsorship and events of in 2011/2012...

This year POWGEN a. s. again financially supported the Cultural Centre of Studénka and also contributed to the organization of scholastic football tournament in Studénka.
