CTZ s.r.o.

CTZ s.r.o. produces and supplies heating for the town of Uherské Hradište and its surroundings in  parts of Stred, Štěpnice and Východ, both for households,  industry and the tertiary sphere. Coal (rough dust) is used to produce heating energy here. Because of this price level of the supplied heating energy is cheaper than the price of heat produced from  other surces and supplies of heat from the company are in the forefront of the economic interest of consumers. CTZ s.r.o. also supplies heating for consumers from 18 house gas boiler plants. 

The company was established by the town of Uherské Hradište as the only founder in 1996. It became a subsidiary of MVV Energie CZ, which purchased 50.96% from the town of Uherské Hradište, in 2000.

In 2004/2005 the company invested money in the construction of a new 1.8 km long hot water network for the area of the former barracks and in 2006/2007 other buildings were successfully connected to the hot water distribution network (buildings of the student's cafeteria and special schools).

In 2006/2007 CTZ s.r.o. also invested money in a new project to extend the hot-water distribution system in the Jaktáře industrial zone and in September 2007 it completed the extension of the hot-water duct in Dlouhá Street. This  year a study for the project of reinforcing the source part of CTZ s.r.o. has also been prepared. The implementation of this project, consisting of installing a new 8 MW brown-coal boiler and a 1 MW turbo-generator is underway in  2008, and the whole project will be completed in 2009.
